BEGINNERS FACE YOGA PROGRAMME

Duration 6- weeks

This programme is specifically tailored for anyone who is new to face yoga. It is a comprehensive introduction using 15 powerful resistance based exercises, that will activate all your face muscles in the correct order.

  • Concentrating first on strengthening the larger heavier muscles

  • Then progressing into the deeper smaller muscles

  • Awakening and activating sleeping facial muscles

  • Relaxing the overactive muscles

  • Toning and sculpting all facial muscles

  • Releasing tension and creating balance.

Each week you will practice and perfect, 3 unique exercises, whilst developing an awareness of how they interact with your entire system via the meridian channel based on Chinese medicine. Thus, restoring balance and rejuvenating all your cells.

THE REVIVE ROOM FACE YOGA FACIAL

This treatment is a true workout for your facial muscles. It consists of 3 main elements;

WARM UP- Gently massaging the facial muscles, this will help improve the circulation, stretch & relax the muscles.

WORKOUT- with my assistance, you will perform key exercises to help activate and strengthen the muscles of the face.

BUCCAL MASSAGE- this is a deep tissue massage, working on muscles inside the mouth. Detoxifying the muscles, reducing inflammation and soreness post workout.  This style of massage will help to release any stagnation, stress patterns that get stored on the face. The ideal treatment to activate, lift, and tighten the 57 muscles of the face. Walk away feeling totally relaxed, whilst looking energised!

This result driven treatment is for anyone looking for a natural facelift. This treatment really feeds and nourishes the skin, whilst sculpting the muscles in the face, neck. Remember muscles have memory and regular training is needed for optimal results. Therefore, aftercare is essential to this facial treatment. You will be guided through 1 face yoga exercise after your facial, which you will need to practise daily until your next workout. Upon every visit you will be given a different exercise to practise at home!

Questions & Answers:

What is face yoga or facial exercises?

This is a series of exercises for our facial muscles.  Just as we train the muscles in the body to tone and sculpt our physique.  We can do the same for our face. Through these intense facial workouts, we activate, strengthen and lift our facial muscles.  Giving you a youthful, healthy appearance, whilst reversing the signs of ageing on the face. 

Its important that you understand that facial exercises differ from facial massage.  With facial exercise we are training the muscles adding resistance to help strengthen and build volume in the muscles. 

How long before I see results?

In some cases, results can be seen immediately.  Generally speaking, most people start to see results after 3 weeks, these can be subtle.  For this reason, I’d recommend you take before and after pictures, so you can monitor the changes, and this will also motivate you to keep going.

Everyone’s face structure is different, and the results can differ based on your gravitational type, daily habits, good facial posture and how often, long you dedicate time for your workout. The true transformations are noticed, when you continue with your practise over a longer period of time.

Won’t stretching cause more wrinkles?

No- while creating mimics and the wrong repetitive movements you can cause unwanted wrinkles, moving you muscles in the correct way can prevent and reduce them.  It’s important you practise in front of a mirror so you can see what you’re doing.  Always make sure whilst doing certain exercises your other facial muscles are relaxed. 

Can I still practise Face yoga if I’ve had fillers, Botox?

Yes! Botox supresses muscle movement, therefore it’s hard to move the facial muscles immediately after treatment.  It’s best to start 3/4weeks post injectables.  However, you can start training some of the other facial muscles in the meantime. If you feel discomfort, please stop the exercises and consult your physician. If you have had facial threads, face exercising is not recommended.  

What if I can’t move my muscles?

Practise and keep practising.  I felt the same when I started, and it took weeks before I had some feeling in my facial muscles. Think about the 1st time you started to swim without arm bands.  Once you learn the movement you will never forget, becomes second nature. The same applies to your facial muscles.

Why is this Revive Face Yoga programme different?

To get the best results possible, it’s important that we activate All the facial muscles.  Why?  The facial muscles are different from those on the body.   On the face the muscles are all interconnected, and they vary in size, shape and weight. This means you have to activate and lift the most prominent and heavy skull muscles first to make space for all other muscles.  Before working on the smaller, more weaker muscles.  We must activate and lift the larger ones.

Using just one exercise you found on the internet won't do the trick. You can only achieve lasting results by following the right sequence of exercises and activate your whole face instead of specific areas.
